New Music Meets Art Hall: Ensemble Via Nova at "Conect" in Erfurt
On October 30, 2026, the concert series "Conect" connects contemporary art and vibrant sound language at the Art Hall Erfurt. The Ensemble Via Nova and Gebhard Ullmann will curate an evening dedicated to jazz and new music.
Sound Spaces Between Jazz and New Music
The concert series "Conect" opens up space for musical encounters beyond classical genre boundaries. At the Art Hall Erfurt, precise chamber music, improvisational energy, and modern sound colors come together. The result promises an intense concert experience characterized by attentive listening, surprising turns, and a unique live atmosphere.
Ensemble Via Nova: Specialized in Contemporary Sound Art
The Ensemble Via Nova is recognized as a continuously working professional chamber music ensemble for new music in Thuringia. As an undirected ensemble, it develops concert programs that incorporate not only classical ensemble work but also electronics and scenic elements. The musical synchronization emerges directly from the interplay of the musicians.
Gebhard Ullmann and the "Conect" Series
The evening on October 30 stands under the sign of jazz and new music. With Gebhard Ullmann, the soundscape expands to include an independent musical perspective that mediates between composed structure, free moments, and expressive stage performance. The art hall thus becomes a resonance space for concentrated conducting without a conductor, differentiated sound, and unusual orchestration.
A Concert Evening in the Center of Erfurt
Doors open at 6:30 PM, the concert starts at 7:00 PM, and is expected to end around 9:00 PM. Tickets are available at the box office. The evening is organized by the City of Erfurt, the Art Hall Erfurt, and the Young Music Association e.V. from Weimar.
Conclusion: Experience New Music Live
"Conect" is aimed at all who wish to experience jazz, contemporary chamber music, and experimental sound worlds directly. Those who see musical boundaries not as dividing lines but as invitations will find an evening full of concentration, discovery, and sound movement at the Art Hall Erfurt on October 30.
