Humorous adaptation of Yasmina Reza's ART

A story about friendship and art

At the theater DIE SCHOTTE in Erfurt, audiences have the opportunity to experience Yasmina Reza's award-winning play 'ART' live. The play humorously and intelligently addresses the question of how modern art can influence our personal perception and interpersonal relationships. Three friends, who could hardly be more different, find themselves in a turbulent verbal dispute through the purchase of a 'white painting,' which challenges not only their friendship but also their own conception of art.

An entertaining evening with depth

This theater performance is characterized by sharp-witted dialogues, pointed direction, and brilliant acting. The conflict surrounding the painting, which at first glance seems to show nothing, reveals deep-seated tensions and unspoken thoughts among the friends. A must-see for theater lovers and art enthusiasts alike.
