Create Your Own Silver Jewelry: Creative Sand Casting Workshop in Erfurt

On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the artist workshop of the capital city of Erfurt will transform into a place for individual jewelry design. In the workshop Silver Jewelry in Sand Casting Process, participants will develop their own piece of jewelry and experience the journey from the first idea to the finished casting.

From Wax Model to Personal Favorite Piece

Whether a pendant or a ring: It all starts with a self-designed wax model. Under expert guidance, an individual mold is created, which is then implemented together using the sand casting process. The craftsmanship combines creative design with a clear insight into a traditional jewelry technique.

Experience Craftsmanship Up Close

The sand casting process makes the production process directly experienceable. From a small idea, a personal piece of jewelry grows step by step. The calm atmosphere of the workshop, the focused work on the model, and the moment of casting create a special event experience for everyone who wants to not just observe craftsmanship but also try it out themselves.

Creative Break in the Artist Workshops

The workshop is aimed at people who enjoy design, jewelry, and craftsmanship. The event combines organization, practical event planning, and creative targeting with an authentic insight into jewelry making. Even those who have no previous experience with goldsmithing or jewelry design will have an easy entry to the technique.

Conclusion: A Unique Piece with Its Own Story

Visitors can expect a creative workshop date with a personal touch: they will design their own wax model, follow the sand casting, and take the idea of a unique piece of jewelry into further production. For those who want to actively experience crafts in Erfurt, this offers a special opportunity to engage in creative activities.
