Spooky Fun at the Bibuuuh!: Halloween Adventure for Little Book Fans
When pumpkins make faces and ghosts float through the shelves, the Children's and Youth Library Erfurt becomes the scene of a special family experience. On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the library invites little horror fans from 4 years old to a festive Halloween event with storytelling cinema and a sweet surprise.
Terrifying Stories, Bright Images
The focus is on a beautifully spooky storytelling cinema. A narrated story, projected images, and the special atmosphere of the library combine reading joy with child-friendly spookiness. Children discover new characters, follow exciting twists, and experience literature with all their senses.
Costumes are warmly welcomed
Dressed-up horror fans can look forward to the popular Halloween call: Trick or Treat. Whether a little vampire, friendly ghost, or brave witch: A costume makes the shared experience even more colorful and brings about children's laughter, amazement, and a strong sense of community.
Age-appropriate and Educational
The event is aimed at children aged 4 and up, tailored to young listeners in preschool and early elementary school age. Reading aloud supports language development, concentration, imagination, and emotional growth. Engaging playfully with the Halloween spook provides children with a safe framework to experience excitement and categorize their own feelings.
A Family Afternoon Full of Learning Fun
Spending time together in the library strengthens the joy of books and creates a relaxed access to stories. Parents witness their children getting excited, discovering, and telling stories. For little horror fans, a warm family experience emerges between reading culture, imagination, and festive Halloween atmosphere.
Conclusion: Little Ghosts, Big Eyes
Spooky Fun at the Bibuuuh! promises a lovingly designed Halloween afternoon with storytelling cinema, costumes, and sweet moments. Families experience child-friendly spookiness, promote the joy of reading, and enjoy time together in the Children's and Youth Library Erfurt. Participation is possible after prior registration.
