Ten European Dance Contributions in Competition before Jury and Audience

The closing evening of the 10th International Dance Theater Festival invites you to the Great House of the Theater Erfurt on November 14, 2026. The focus is on the competition contact.energy '26, where ten selected contributions from the European dance scene compete before a jury and an audience.

The participating artists present their works in different formations. The evening features solos, duos, and trios that showcase the diversity of contemporary dance theater. This evening combines the festive conclusion of the festival with an international competition format.

International Dance on Stage

The program assembles ten selected contributions from Europe. Each work competes as part of the competition in front of a jury and the audience. This creates an evening where choreographic ideas, individual forms of expression, and various constellations come together directly.

The Great House of the Theater Erfurt provides the setting for this special festival conclusion. The event is aimed at anyone who wants to experience contemporary dance and dance theater. Whether solo, duo, or trio: the contributions demonstrate different forms in which movement and stage presence become independent artistic works.
